ENERGY UNPLUGGED
Data • Decarbonisation • Decentralisation
EESA invites you to submit abstracts for EECON 2026, where Energy Unplugged explores the three major forces reshaping Australia’s electricity sector.

Data is becoming the backbone of modern power systems, enabling visibility, automation, forecasting, protection, and cyber‑secure digital networks.
Decarbonisation is accelerating the shift to alternative generation sources, storage, and firming technologies as coal exits.
Decentralisation is transforming the grid into a dynamic, two‑way system filled with DER, microgrids, VPPs, EVs, and community energy.
EECON 2026 brings industry leaders together to share insights into these changes and the technologies enabling a sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy future. The conference also offers valuable networking, sponsorship, and exhibition opportunities showcasing the latest innovations shaping the sector.
